GCHS Class Of 1989: Reunion Reservation Deadline Is Extended!!
      There is still time to make a reservation for the Garden City High School Class of 1989 20th Year Reunion! The deadline has been extended to Wednesday, September 15th. Our class will get together on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 from 8 pm to midnight at the Nassau County Bar Association.

      The Garden City High School Class of 2013 is invited to attend the 6th annual Freshman Barbecue on Friday, September 25th at 6:30 PM in the high school cafeteria. The Garden City high school PTA organizes this event to welcome the 9th graders and ease the transition into an exciting new school environment.

GC Students Raise Funds For Ugandan Children
      To help raise awareness of the plight of Ugandan children and in support of the charity, Invisible Children, Madeleine Gong (11th grade, GCHS) and Justin Gong (8th grade, GCMS) played the violin in two musical performances in NYC's Central Park during the weekend of July 11 and 12. They raised over $600, exceeding their goal by over $100.

St. Anne's School Welcomes Students
      Excitement was in the air as Saint Anne's School welcomed back its students on Tuesday. This year the school has a total enrollment of 520 students, the school's highest in recent history. There are two sections in every grade K-8 with three in first grade.

Italian Language Program Begins 12th Year
