Three Residents To Play 100 Holes Of Golf In One Day!

2009-09-11 / Community

On September 21st, John Garvey, Dan Baruch and Michael Pasqualina, residents of Garden City and, clearly avid golfers, will be joining 30 other golfers in a marathon of golf. All of these participants will start swinging the clubs at sunrise and will be playing 100 Holes of Golf at the Hamlet Golf & Country Club in Commack to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation. Each of them will be participating with the support of sponsors, including friends, family members and business associates and contacts.

Founded in 1948, the Arthritis Foundation is the only national, voluntary health agency seeking the prevention, control and cure of more than 100 forms of arthritis. The Foundation has more than 500,000 volunteers and 150 chapters and service points nationwide that provide community-based programs and raise funds.

Arthritis Foundation volunteers serve as advocates to local and national governments on behalf of the nearly 46 million Americans with arthritis.

If you would like to join John, Dan and Michael by playing 100 Holes of Golf on September 21st - or, if you would like to support them in their efforts by sponsoring them, please go to the 100 Hole Challenge website at: www.100holechallenge2009.kintera.org
