The Garden City School District's Adult Ed. program recently sent out their fall catalog of courses and they continue to offer a wide selection of classes for virtually every interest. In addition to the perennial favorites such as yoga, pilates, foreign language and badminton there are day trips to Broadway shows, trips to the National Parks as well as trips overseas. If your interest is academic there are lectures and slide shows on astronomy by a NASA consultant, as well as lectures on history, science, computers and photography. New classes have been added to the past favorites on Voluntourism, the Peace Corps experience, Long Island history, a kayak nature tour and a day trip to Brooklyn's famous Green-Wood Cemetery. You can download a registration form online and send your course selections in through the mail.
