Cara Matina is working towards her Girl Scout Gold Award. In doing so she hosted a monthly meeting with Cultural Care Au pair and the newest aupair arrivals from around the world to the Garden City and North Shore communities. She discussed with them the dangers of texting and drunk driving.

Cara will be reaching out to the Garden City community in hopes of collecting musical instruments that she will be able to clean and fix with professional help for donation.
