Allstate VP Appointed To Advisory Council

Allstate Insurance Company's Field Vice President for New York, Robert Holden, has been appointed to the President's Advisory Council at Adelphi University. The members of the Council, primarily business and other leaders on Long Island, volunteer their counsel, time, and support to the institution's priorities as defined by University President Dr. Robert A. Scott.
"I am pleased to welcome such an esteemed business leader to our committee," said Dr. Scott. "I appreciate Bob's personal commitment to the University, and sincerely look forward to his contributions as a member of the Council."
In his role as New York's Field Vice President, Mr. Holden is the executive responsible for the strategic and day-to-day operations of the business in New York. Additionally, Mr. Holden is a member of the Allstate Foundation committee for New York. The Allstate Foundation has granted significant funds to programming at the University over the years, including $35,000 this year for the Long Island Center for Nonprofit Leadership (housed at the University).

"Through more than 900 Allstate agencies statewide and through our significant financial support of local institutions, including Adelphi University, Allstate is helping the people of Long Island and those in communities across New York.
