Masha Hamilton's captivating novel The Camel Bookmobile will be the selection for a book discussion, which will be moderated by Gloria Weinrich, on Wednesday, September 23rd at 10 AM. This compelling novel follows an American librarian, Fiona Sweeney, who travels to Africa to bring the classics of literature to a semi-nomadic population in Kenya. Readers are transported across the globe to experience the struggles between traditional values and different cultures.

The book discussion moderated by Mrs. Weinrich will take place in the Library's small meeting room on the Lower Level and is limited to 20 participants. No registration is necessary. Copies of the book are available at the reference desk in the Library. This event is sponsored by The Friends of The Garden City Library.
