Ryan Short and Kathryn Lindsay Donald and Ellen Lindsay of Garden City are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn, to Ryan Short, son of James and Elizabeth Short of Manhasset.

Kathryn graduated from Garden City High School in 2000 and Georgetown in 2004 with a B.S. in Health Systems. She received an MBA in Finance and Management from Fordham in 2009. Kathryn is an associate at Goldman Sachs in the Corporate Real Estate Division.

Ryan is a graduate of Chaminade High School, class of 2001. In 2005, he received a B.S. in Economics from The College of the Holy Cross. Ryan works on an investor desk in the Private Bank at J.P. Morgan.

A September 2010 wedding is planned in Garden City.
