The Garden City Swim Team stands at the edge of the pool cheering on their teammates. The journey down any path of success will encounter certain setbacks.

The Garden City A Swim Team suffered its first loss against Hempstead this past weekend.

Despite many obstacles it was the youngest members of the team that stepped up and provided an important emotional boost.

Another tough competition will take place this Saturday as the team travels to Long Beach.
