The Centennial Anniversary of the Long Island Chapter of the Sons of the Revolution was observed on July 7th by the Town of Huntington. Rosalyn Dorn (pictured front row, left) of the Colonel Aaron Ogden Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution in Garden City , represented the chapter at the event.
The celebration included the opening of a special exhibit at Huntington Town Hall, "Legacy of the Revolution in Huntington". The exhibit includes patriotic muster rolls, occupation orders, military equipment and cooking gear of the period. The exhibit is open to the public whenever Town Hall in Huntington is open, until December.
