This team has been such a pleasure to coach, every girl brought something special to the team that made every game a joy to be involved in. They helped one another when needed and cheered each other throughout the game. Many of girls played positions that they never played before and did very well. The fielding was outstanding, the pitching was great and the hitting was timely. Winning the championships was terrific, but to see these girls play each week and have so much fun was the best part. There were catches made that were unbelievable, and first time hits that had the other teams cheering for us. The other teams that we played were all good players and great sportsmen. I would like to thank my coaches, Jimmy Burke & Rich Marooney for their dedication and knowledge of the game, they were a great help. And my wife Kathy for encouraging the girls and bringing all the snacks , she made every game fun for everyone. Peter Santulli for helping out at many games and Tom Ludwiczak for taking so many great pictures. Each game we had a big cheering crowd of parents and families, thank you for all your support. Softball is a great game, the girls were able to form new friendships and learn a sport that they can play for years. I would encourage any girl thinking about playing to come out next year you'll have a great time .I'd like to thank the girls for giving me the opportunity to coach such a fine group of young ladies.
