Stephanie Nicole Leondis of Garden City received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drew University on Saturday, May 16, 2009, at the university's 141st commencement. Gerald Stern, New Jersey's first poet laureate and a winner of the National Book Award, spoke to students at the ceremony along with Drew President Robert Weisbuch.
