Long Island Blood Services will hold a blood drive at The Garden City Public Library on Monday, July 27th from 2PM to 7:30 PM. The bus mobile will be parked at 60 Seventh Street, outside the Library. Over 800 pints of blood are needed every day to meet the needs of patients in over 50 Long Island hospitals.

Eligible donors must be between 16 and 76 years of age, with a minimum weight of 110 lbs., and no tattoos within the past 12 months. Donors must have valid ID and know their social security number.
