Girl Scout Troop 1126 held it's last meeting this year at Sushi Ya restaurant on Franklin Avenue. The hibachi chef amazed the girls with his culinary wizardry and good times were had by all. To close out the year, the girls made a contribution of over $500 to the Mary Brennan INN in Hempstead.

Raising the bulk of the money through cookie sales, the girls voted to contribute their earnings to the INN which they had visited earlier in the year.
