Want to know what the argument is about? Want to learn more about the biggest pop phenomenon of the last 15 years? Want to be able to keep up with your children or grandchildren? Join in a discussion of Christianity and Harry Potter facilitated by Mr. Charlie Janoff on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Little Portion Friary. Little Portion Friary is an Episcopal Franciscan Friary and is located in Mount Sinai on Long Island. The Friary with its beautiful gardens and peaceful atmosphere will set the backdrop for a day of discussion and prayer. There will be an opportunity to walk the labyrinth, participate in the Friary's Saturday Mass and have lunch with the Brothers. Of course, the Brothers' famous bread will be available for purchase!

The cost of the trip is $20 which includes lunch. Checks should be made payable to the Cathedral of the Incarnation with Little Portion Friary noted on the memo line. Carpooling will take place for those who wish to participate. The car pools will meet in the Cathedral House Parking Lot at 8 a.m. on August 1.
