Thomas Hughes and Bethany LeSueur Mr. and Mrs. Paul LeSueur of Garden City proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Bethany, to Thomas W. Hughes Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Hughes, of Dix Hills, New York

Ms. LeSueur, a 2001 graduate of Garden City High School, received her BS from Georgetown University and her MS from Hofstra University. Bethany was a member of the Georgetown Women's Basketball team. She is presently a Business Education teacher in the East Meadow School District.

Mr. Hughes, a 1997 graduate of Farmingdale High School, received his BS from The University of Scranton and MS degrees from The University of Scranton and Molloy College. Tom was a member of The University of Scranton Men's Basketball and Lacrosse teams. He is presently a teacher in the Levittown School District.

A July 2010 wedding is planned.
