The choristers provided three anthems, a psalm, and hymn descants for the Feast of Corpus Christi in the splendid Gothic building with its resonant acoustic. Christ Church is well regarded nationally for the high quality of its choir and liturgy, so the choristers were particularly please to receive many compliments from the clergy and congregation on the strength and beauty of their tone. With the regular Christ Church choir on summer break, the Cathedral choristers were also glad to provide a festive note to the first Mass of two newly ordained Deacons. Cathedral Associate Organist and Choirmaster Alistair Nelson, former Organ Scholar of Christ Church, directed the choir, and Canon Musician Larry Tremsky provided sensitive choral accompaniment and service playing.
