In response to the numerous emails/phone calls we have received regarding the time our program will operate next season; the GCAAhas inappropriately "announced" their winter schedule as 8am to 4pm. The GCAA does NOT have a village permit for this timeframe.

GCAA Summer Baseball Registration
      The deadline for registering for the GCAA Summer Baseball Season is fast approaching! The GCAA's Summer Baseball Season includes both Garden City teams and teams from neighboring towns. The season will run for five weeks starting July 13th, with two games per week per team on Monday through Thursday evenings.

GCAA Basketball Is Now Accepting Applications For The 2009-2010 Season
      GCAA, an entity that has been running sports in Garden City for over 50 years, is now accepting applications for the 2009-2010 basketball season. The application can be downloaded from the GCAA website, www.gc-aa.com. Please sign up early as the number of registrants will determine the amount of court time GCAA receives.

GCAA Travel Baseball Tryout Information
      *Pre-Registration Is Required* The GCAA will be holding travel baseball tryouts for any child between 8 and 12. Remember: To determine which team your child is eligible to play on, use the little league birth date for 2010 (which is your child's age as of April 30, 2010.

      Middle School Wings Complete Spring Season The Garden City Wings Middle School ice hockey team recently completed it's spring season with a record of 5 wins over teams from Pt. Washington / East Williston, Bellmore / Merrick, Bethpage and Roslyn and 3 losses to teams from Syosset, Sewanhaka and Massapequa.
