Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray (right) greets EASEL artist John Maher of Garden City at a "Meet the Artists" reception recently held at Town Hall in Hempstead. EASEL, the Experienced Art Students Enrichment League, is administered through Hempstead Town's Department of Senior Enrichment. The league is open to town residents aged 60 and over who have had previous experience in the fields of art, painting or graphics.
