Senior Presidents' Recognition Day

Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray (left) and Town Clerk Mark Bonilla (right) joined with the 2009 senior center and club presidents at Hempstead Town's Presidents' Recognition Day recently held in the Nathan L. H. Bennett Pavilion at Town Hall in Hempstead. During the annual ceremony, Supervisor Murray acknowledged the devoted service and efforts of the club and center presidents and the vital role that the presidents play in managing events and activities in concert with the town's senior coordinators.
