Recently Mr. Sal Catania stepped down as president of the Friends of the Garden City Public Library. Many of my fellow residents and I want to thank him publicly for his service to the village. He has brought many cultural programs to the library. These programs have been not only informative, but entertaining as well. The movies are a favorite among my friends. Sal has always had something of interest to tell you about the films and the actors. He is very knowledgeable and you can see that he loves hat he does. These programs truly enrich the village.
