The Garden City Unit of the American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers who can help assist cancer patients. Every day thousands of cancer patients need a ride to treatment. The Road to Recovery Program provides transportation to and from treatment facilities for individuals with cancer who do not have transportation. More ... The Time Capsule was buried by a local Girl Scout Brownie Troop who invited community to write letters to themselves, to be mailed when the time capsule was dug up.
