Real Estate Agents Attend Regional Conference

Stephanie Cullum, Marie Grant, Karen Guendjoian, Herta Kapp, Cheryl McAuliffe and John Russo of Coach Realtors' Garden City Office recently joined other specialists in the luxury real estate market from North America, for the Christie's Great Estates Regional Conference in New York City. Cheryl McAuliffe was invited to be one of six panelist presenting a discussion on the impact of the current economy on the national and international luxury real estate market and how to develop successful marketing strategies in these times. The one day conference was held at Christie's auction house in Rockefeller Center. Coach Realtors is an exclusive affiliate of Christie's Great Estates, the largest network of real estate brokers dedicated to the marketing and sale of distinctive properties around the globe.

The New York City conference featured a keynote speech by Kay Coughlin, President and CEO of Christie's Great Estates and David Adamo, Founder and CEO, Luxury Mortgage Corp, spoke on "The State of the Jumbo Mortgage Market". The most captivating presentation was made by Nikki F. Upshaw, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for the ResidenSea. The ResidenSea is a private residential cruise ship on continuous circumnavigation of the globe in pursuit of the natural, historic and cultural attractions of every continent.

The conference covered such topics as demographics of the affluent, lifestyle segmentation, trends and amenities in today's luxury home product and creating a marketing plan for the multimillion dollar property. "The seminar provided new insight about the upper tier market and helped our sales agents to polish their skills. There is not a luxury home buyer or seller on Long Island that will not benefit from the knowledge our sales associates have gained" stated Lawrence P. Finn, Owner and President of Coach Realtors.
