The Sting finished the season with an impressive 7-1 record. Consistent pitching performances by Cal Stellato, Andrew Hammersley and Gavin Pappas throwing to battery-mates Christopher Caluori, Joe Macchiarola, Jack Muldoon and Danny McLeod kept the Sting in every game waiting for the bats to come alive. Offensively, the Sting scored 80 runs in eight games while giving up only 29. Playing rock steady defense Tommy Reifler was a calming influence in the infield. Stephen Caluori, Michael Roscoe and Sean Tariche played integral defensive roles in the infield and outfield. The coaches, Reifler, Hammersley, Macchiarola and Pappas were thrilled with the development of the team and anxiously await the fall travel season.
