On May 15 the four year old students at Cathedral Nursery School had a very special visitor: a Garden city fire truck! First Assistant Chief Charles Cavarro and Fireman James O'Keefe, who both have children attending Cathedral, brought the truck and several firemen to talk with the childrem about fire safety. The children were allowed to step onto the ladder platform when it was on the ground. The visit was tremendous fun for the children, and it also reinforced their lesson on community helpers.
