The graduating seniors kneel as their parents offer them prayerful support as they "Step Out into the World." On Sunday, May 31 the parish of The Cathedral of the Incarnation presented their graduating high school seniors with embroidered blankets to remind them of the love and support the people of the parish offer them as they "Step Out into the World." The parents and Godparents of these seniors promised at their baptisms to be responsible for seeing that the children were brought up in the Christian faith and life and to pray and witness to help their children grow into the full stature of Christ. Now that these promises have been fulfilled, the congregation was asked to give ongoing support for the faith journeys of the seniors as they move on to the next stage of their lives.

The graduates also gave thanks for the support of their parents and Godparents and prayed for God's blessings upon them.
