Spring Events At St. Anne's
The night ends with eighth grade girls sharing a special song.
Two Spring traditions took place at St. Anne's School in the last few weeks. On May 27 the school band and chorus performed in the Spring Concert. The school band under the direction of Miss Behr performed in sections of Beginner Band, Experienced Band and Wind Ensemble. Chorus members from grades 3-7 sang a delightful collection of music under the direction of Mr. Caltabiano. In conjunction with the musical display of talent, the downstairs hallway and cafeteria featured the creative art works of the students throughout the year. It was wonderful evening showcasing the nurturing of our talented students in the arts at St. Anne's.
The first Friday in June each year is a special one for moms and daughters at St. Anne's. Once again Father John celebrated a beautiful mass that was dedicated to the eighth grade girls and their moms. The mass allowed both the daughters and moms to reflect on their relationships with one another and how even the best relationships have room to improve. Following the mass the group headed to the cafeteria for some great food, laughs, plenty of dancing and lots of raffle baskets. Event chairs, Maureen Jones, Jen McManaman and Nicole Reksono put a tremendous effort into the celebration. A very special and memorable evening was enjoyed by all!
Girls and moms dance the night away.
We are now looking forward to Father Son night coming up next week!
