Six Foreign Language in Elementary School (FLES) students from Stewart and Stratford Schools were recently named as winners in the 2009 American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) Poster Contest. Students from 37 states, as well as from India and Israel, entered the competition, making this year's contest truly an international one. This year's contest theme was "Quien habla dos lenguas vale por dos" ("He/she who speaks two languages is worth two people").

Stewart School announced winners in the third, fourth and fifth grades, while Stratford School had winners in the second and fourth grades.

Congratulations to all of the FLES students who entered this year's AATSP competition!
