Nicholas Vernice , a Garden City Middle School seventh grader, was honored by the New York State PTA for his interpretation of this year's theme, "WOW". Nicholas' work was selected from among the 24,555 entries received staewide for this competition and will have his work on display at the NYS PTA Convention this November where many visitors from across New York State will be able to enjoy his work.
