The Garden City Retired Men's Club is a non-profit membership organization formed in April 1961 for the purpose of providing educational and recreational activities for the retired male senior citizens of the Garden City Community. The organization is non-sectarian and non-political.

All retired men 55 years or older residing in the Incorporated Village of Garden City, in the state of New York are eligible for membership upon paying a five (5) dollar initiation fee. If you are eligible and interested in joining us, please come by. Every Monday is Open House. Or call Joe Leto at 248-9022.

The Club House facility is located at No. 6 Golf Club Lane (directly behind Lord & Taylor parking lot). The building is open every day of the week, except Friday, and offers two regulation size pool tables, television, cards/table board games as well as outdoor bocce, horseshoes and shuffleboard. Our Program Committee is planning a very active speaker program. You are invited to join us!

Visit the Recreation Department FREE exercise program at the St. Paul complex any Monday, Wednesday or Friday, two sessions each day one at 9:15 a.m. and one at 10:30 a.m. Stop by and let Felicia help you get back in shape. Speaker Program

George Salem has done it again. He's booked Don Canade, a senior member of the Fidelity team. Don is a Fidelity regional planning consultant who works with Fidelity advisors to help create complex financial plans for high net worth clients. He will speak on "How to Invest for Income in Such a Low Interest Rate World"; "Advantages of having your money professionally managed"; and an update on the current invest climate review and outlook. Monday, June 29th at 1 p.m. is date and time. You can't afford to miss this.

It is time to help some of our fellow retirees step out of the house and smell the roses. If you are, or know of someone who is, a shut-in and cannot get to the club for lack of transportation let us know. Also, if you are willing to transport a shut-in let us know.
