Christine Philippides The Garden City Welcoming Club hosted an Art Auction at the Bar Association, hosted by Christine Phillippides of the Philanthropic Committee. A preview of the art was accompanied by libations and hors d'oeuvres. The selection of art, pictures and memorabilia, was extensive. The auction was a success and many happy bidders went home with beautiful artwork. One big item that was auctioned off was an autographed Eric Clapton Guitar.

The proceeds of this auction were donated to our 2008-09 philanthropic cause - The Coalition Against Child Abuse and Neglect.
