Hemlock Students Sing For Red, White And Blue
First graders at Hemlock School dressed in red, white and blue for their "Spring Sing" on Monday, May 18th and sang patriotic songs saluting our flag and honoring veterans for the Memorial Day weekend. Music teacher Mrs. Katherine Riker led students in poems and songs including America the Beautiful, You're a Grand Old Flag and America. "The children enthusiastically learned the new songs and poems to perform for their parents at the Spring Sing," commented Principal Audrey Bellovin. "The parents were entranced watching their children perform, and these songs will stay with them forever."
