Chelsea Ripp The American Legion Auxiliary Post 265 in Garden City is pleased to announce the winners of our Girls State Americanism Program. They are Ms. Jane Furey and Ms. Chelsea Ripp. This is a special program to introduce these young ladies as well as other young competitor women groups to live together as a self governing body in a mythical 51 st state. They will be involved in the functioning of our government as well as our political system. It is also possible for these Empire state Girls to receive a recommendation for pre-college credits.

The program is held at S.U.N.Y. - Brock Port, N.Y. During the week of June 27th to July 3rd.

We are indeed very proud of these young ladies.
