Local resident Lana Noone recently organized and participated in a 34th Anniversary Vietnam "Operation Babylift" (OBL) Program at the Smithsonian's Hirshhorn Museum on the Mall in Washington, DC.

The distinguished Panel included Vietnam Veterans and civilians who organized OBL, Lana's daughter Jennifer Nguyen Noone (the final baby placed via OBL in 1975) and Mrs. Noone.

The outstanding Panelists, excellent slide presentation and flute interlude by Mrs. Noone were all extremely well received by the audience.

Garden City was represented by audience member Margaret Taggart, a Noone family friend, who traveled to Washington, DC for the event.
