Each year the Catholic Daughters of America sponsor a national education contest for students in grades 4 through 12 attending Catholic schools or Confraternity programs. The areas are essay, poetry, art, computer art, photography and music.
All first place winners sponsored by Court St. Anne were forwarded to New York State to compete and those winners sent on to the National Court level.
At the New York State Catholic Daughters Convention in April, two of our local winners were awarded prizes on the State Level. The first one was Erin Emmons who won first place in the Music Division for grades 9 through 12. Nina Bianco won 3rd place in Art for the 6th through 8th grade level. Erin's work has been sent to the National level for judging.
