Cub Scouts and Leaders proudly waved the flag along Franklin Avenue. The Cub Scouts of Pack 55 proudly marched in the annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25. The scouts and their den leaders marched and carried flags to honor all those who have served America in the United States Military.

Leading the Pack, was the official Pack 55 float which showcased one the activities most associated with scouting, camping. Sitting in front of their tent on the float, Tiger cub scouts "toasted" marshmallows by the campfire as they rode along the parade route. Camping is only one of the many exciting activities that the cub scouts enjoy.

If you have wondered what scouting is all about, you will soon have the perfect opportunity to find out! All boys who are interested are invited to attend our annual Picnic. It will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009 on the grounds of the Cathedral of the Incarnation from 6 - 8pm. There will be plenty of food and fun for the whole family. Tee Pee Ted will be on hand to present his fascinating Traveling Wilderness Museum.
