County Champs - Girls Track
      The Varsity Girls track team continued their stellar season with their third consecutive Spring County Championship, defeating nearest competitor Hewlett by 44 points. The girls have had an excellent season but it is long from over, although they capped their local season with the County Championship last week.

Boys Lacrosse In Playoffs
      In the first round of the Nassau County Class B boys lacrosse playoffs, Garden City hosted Mepham on Wednesday afternoon May 20th. Devin Dwyer led the scoring for GC with three goals and two assists as the Trojans went on to win 15-0.

GCHS Students Raise Money For Mollie's Fund
      On Saturday, May 9th, Garden City sophomores: Kelly Allen, Michelle Finneran, Elizabeth Mahoney, Katie McCarthy, Kathryn Risi, Lauren Williams and Emily Winchurch supported the Mollie Biggane Melanoma Foundation by passing out hats, sunscreen and self check brochures for skin cancer to athletes annd their families.
