Library Kicks Off Summer Season With String Bracelet Making


The Young Adult Department of the Garden City Library kicked off its summer season of programming on Saturday, May 23rd with a string bracelet making program. Young Adult Pages Maria Ortiz and Alexandra Woehr (pictured left to right) conducted the program teaching the teens the techniques of working with colorful string to make the very popular string bracelet.
