In celebration of this great achievement, the Dance Project will continue its tradition of outstanding performances by presenting this year's show, "Fifteen Years of Fame." This show is a culmination of eight months of diligent lessons in jazz, ballet and modern dance during which over thirty girls in grades five through twelve put in countless hours of rehearsing at the Unitarian Church in Garden City. The show was made possible not only by the efforts of the girls but through the hard work and choreography of their teachers and directors. The dancers were taught and inspired along the way by founder Jean Philippou, director Annie Ippolito, ballet instructor Anna Farkas and assistant directors Alexa Kiffel and Kim Schmohl. The performances of "Fifteen Years of Fame" will be held on May 30th at 4pm and 7:30pm and May 31st at 1pm in the Olmstead Theatre at Adelphi University. For tickets or any additional information, the Dance Project can be contacted at communitydanceproject@yahoo.com.
