Tim Foxen & Connor Tariche working together to keep the ball from Dix Hills After a long layoff from last fall when the GC Warriors reached the quarterfinals of the State Cup challenge, the boys met up with Dix Hills in the semi-finals on Saturday. After going up 2-0 early on in the match, Dix Hills rallied to get within one. With spirited play that continued to challenge our boys throughout the rest of the match, a number of chances going both ways were held off, allowing the Warriors to continue their pursuit of the challenge cup. The finals will take place at Nardi Soccerplex in Pomona, NY on June 6 against Woodhaven, NY. Great job Warriors!
