John Roberts and Meredith Lewis Rosemary Lewis of Garden City is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Meredith Alaine, to John Paul Roberts, son of Linda and John Roberts of Scarsdale, NY. The future bride is the daughter of the late Kent J. Lewis.

Meredith graduated from Garden City High School, Lycoming College and Hofstra University. She is presently Chief of Staff to the Associate Commissioner of ACS Child Care and Head Start in New York City. John graduated from Edgemont High School and Pace University and is a Police Officer for the Town of Greenburgh in Westchester County, NY.

An October 2009 wedding is planned.
