The Garden City Historical Society will hold its Annual Meeting on Wednesday, June 3, at 7:30 p.m. at The Garden City Historical Society Museum, 109 Eleventh Street. All members are welcome to attend. In addition, the Society's Board of Directors invites any Garden City resident or local business representative who wishes to become a member to join on that night. The Annual Meeting agenda will include a brief presentation by officers and directors and the installation of officers for the coming year. The meeting will be followed by light refreshments and the opportunity for attendees to visit the museum, its Gift Shop, and the A.T. Stewart Exchange. The Board of Directors hopes that as members learn more about the Society that they will be inspired to volunteer on one of the various working committees. There's plenty happening at the Museum, from archival work and merchandising to event planning and assisting with our upcoming annual Flea Market, scheduled for Saturday, June 6.
