End Of Season Recital At Cathedral
Parker Kitterman
On Sunday, May 31 at 4:00 p.m. Parker Kitterman will be giving an organ recital at the Cathedral of the Incarnation. He has served at the Cathedral as Assistant Organist and Choirmaster and is currently Organist and Choir Director at the Church of the Good Shepherd in New York City. Other congregations which he has served include one Washington, D.C. and Yale Divinity School's Marquand Chapel. He is a native of rural eastern Georgia and now lives in the northwest Bronx with his wife Imali. Mr. Kitterman is a graduate of Duke University (B.A. English and Music) and the Yale Institute of Sacred Music (Master of Music and Organ). He studied at the Brussels Conservatory on a Fulbright grant and was a semifinalist in international organ competitions in Toulouse (2002) and Tokyo (2008).
