In the latest milestone in the continuing expansion and modernization of its facilities, Mercy Medical Center is holding an open house to mark the completion of renovations and technology enhancements at its Bishop John R. McGann Radiology and Imaging Center.

The community is invited to a dedication ceremony, reception and tour of the facilities on Wednesday evening, May 27th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event will acknowledge The Friends of Mercy Medical Center and the Mercy Council of Leagues for their generous contributions to the acquisition of new equipment and the enhancement of patient amenities. The celebration will include refreshments donated by Chat Noire Patisserie and Tea House of Rockville Centre.

Amenities upgrades at the McGann Center include a spacious, airy reception area designed to provide patients with a bright, cheerful environment, along with a new private waiting area for Women's Imaging patients. And with recent equipment acquisitions, the Center offers the most advanced technology available, including digital mammography, ultrasound and stereotactic breast biopsy.
