Emily Bohan and John Hyland Mr. & Mrs. John J. Hyland of Garden City are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, John Banning Hyland, to Emily M. Bohan, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Paul J. Bohan of New York City. After attending Garden City schools, John graduated from the Hotchkiss School (2001) and Washington & Lee university (2005). He is currently employed by Barclays Capital in their institutional equities sales and trading group. Emily is a graduate of the Hotchkiss School (2002) and Georgetown University (2006). She is currently pursuing a masters in teaching degree at the Bank Street School and is employed by the Buckley School in Manhattan.

Their wedding is scheduled for August 1, 2009 in Newport, Rhode Island where Emily's parents maintain a home.
