BETWEEN MAY 6 and 8, someone took a Giant mountain bike and a Trek mountain bike from an unlocked garage at Huntington Road... PO CAPUTO arrested a 45-year-old Garden City man for a stalking incident that occurred in Suffolk County, at Hilton Avenue on April 24. The charges were resisting arrest, possession of cocaine, and for said incident...ON MAY 8, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., a burglary occurred at Jefferson Street, where a window was found open and $53 in a jar was missing...ON MAY 10, PO Oswald stopped a 34-year-old Baldwin woman at Franklin Avenue after she allegedly was unable to stay in a lane there. She was charged with speeding at 50 in a 30 mph zone and for alleged DWI (.13%) as well...ON MAY 9, PO Sansone issued a ticket to a 16-year-old female for holding a loud party with alcohol at a GC residence...ON MAY 7, PO Oswald arrested a 27-year-old Port Washington man for alleged DWI (.12%) at Franklin Avenue, south of Stewart Avenue, and for no insurance and unsafe lane change...A TRUCK STOP was held at Commercial Avenue on May 6, with 9 trucks inspected, 43 tickets issued, and 1 truck taken out of service...PO CRISTIANO observed 2 cars allegedly weaving in and out of lanes at 1:08 p.m. on May 5 and the 2 males, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, both from Elmont, were arrested for imprudent speed, reckless driving, and for numerous other aggressive driving violations...ON MAY 12, detectives arrested a 42-year-old St. Albans, Queens man for a burglary that occurred at Eastern Numismatics, Franklin Avenue, on February 4...BETWEEN MAY 10 and 11, someone opened a first floor bathroom window after slashing a screen and stole a $1500 ring at a Roosevelt Street house...

A grease fire was extinguished at a Whitehall Blvd. house prior to FD arrival on May 12...
