Garden City's Jimmy Kenny gets the pass off, ahead of Carey's Brian Mahoney. See this photo at www.Newsphoto.com It was an easy win for the Trojans boys varsity lacrosse team on April 29th as Garden City defeated the Carey Seahawks 11-2. The victory kept the Trojans undefeated in Conference II with a 4-0 record and brought their overall record to 9-3. Will Fuller led the scoring with three goals and one assist. Also scoring for Garden City were: Devin Dwyer (2 goals, one assist) Vin Chiodo (2), Conor Dwyer (2), and Mike Lind (2). Patric Berkery contributed with three assists followed by Liam Kennedy (1 assist) and Mark Fischer (1 assist). Chris Connors, in goal for GC, made six saves. Also in goal were: Alex Castronovo (2 saves) and Tim Moynihan (1 save). The Trojans will host Long Beach at 1pm tomorrow, Saturday May 9th.
