Caroline lark heading the ball On a misty Saturday morning the U10 Garden City Chargers competed aggressively and victoriously vs Lynbrook. The first half the team was down 0-1. After a halftime inspirational speech by Coach Clarke and Coach Schroeder the girls hit the second half with a renewed spirit and fierce determination. Margot Schroeder started things off with one goal while Claire Gallic scored a "hat trick" to provide the Chargers with a 4-2 victory. Our two goalies, Margot Schroeder and Michaela Fontanetta, stopped many potential advances. Offensive was brilliant with Emily Clarke, Claire Gallic, Alexandra Archer, Kippy Donovan and Anna Reily. Our defense Joanna Humbert, Dannielle Mistretta, Michaela Fontanetta, Caroline Kaczynski and Caroline Lark provided the strength to keep the ball away from our goal.

The Chargers are now 3-1 and look forward to next weekend!
