In Memoriam
Brian S. Saloy, of Mineola, and a former Garden City resident, passed away on April 24, 2009. He was 34. He was the loving son of Stephen and the late Maureen; Beloved brother of Gregory (Allison); Loving fiancée of Maria Calabrese; Devoted grandson of Viola Hand. Brian was a graduate of Chaminade High School, class of 1992. He received his Bachelors degree from Providence College in 1996, and his Masters in Teaching from Fordham University in 1998. Brian held the position of Treasurer for The Mineola Lion's charitable organization for many years. Brian was a Vice President of William Saloy Inc., Mineola, New York. A mass of Christian burial was held at St. Joseph's Church in Garden City, on April 29th, 2009. Brian was an extraordinary gentleman and will be greatly missed by numerous relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian's name may be made to The Mineola Lion's Club, 80 Jefferson Ave. Mineola, N.Y. 11501.
