Superintendent of Schools Dr. Robert Feirsen will be the guest speaker at the May meeting of the Eastern Property Owners' Association. The meeting will be held in the Garden City's Library's large meeting room on Wednesday, May 13, beginning promptly at 7:30 pm. The public is invited.

Dr. Feirsen will lead off the program. The public portion of the meeting with Dr. Feirsen is open to all Garden City residents. After Dr. Feirsen's appearance, the regular EPOA board meeting will commence. This will be closed to the public.

The Garden City Board of Education recently adopted a budget totaling $95,215,587, which amounts to a budget-to-budget increase of .75 percent. A budget vote for Garden City residents will be held on Tuesday, May 19, from 7 am to 10 pm at the high school.

On Monday, June 1, the EPOA will hold its Annual Public Joint Meeting, also in the GC Library's large meeting room, starting at 7:30 pm.
