Teamates having fun... The Garden City 3rd Grade Boys headed over to Manhasset on Friday night for a showdown versus their arch nemesis. It was a beautiful night for lacrosse to be played. The sun was shining, the wind was blowing and well the field was muddy. The GC squad split their 3 dynamic teams into 2 all star teams. Right from the beginning GC showed its superior ground ball skills and stick checking technique. With some new goalies to go along and provide a solid wall in net. GC took command in one game quickly 3 nothing then continued their dominance for a 7-0 win. In the other game GC went down 2 nothing before coming roaring back and win 6-3. Thanks to the coaches for all their help and time this season. We will also like to thank Manhasset for inviting us down and their hospitality. Hope this is a start of another great tradition.
